2001-2004 Mustang SOHC Romeo 2 Valve 4.6L Engine

This engine is suited for 2001-2004 Mustangs equipped with the 16 valve Romeo 4.6L engine. Most 1999-(early)2001 cars came with the Windsor version of the 4.6L, which was equivalent in performance to the Romeo but had a several slight differences such as the number of valve cover bolts and the number of flywheel bolts. This beast is a great replacement for a stock car, but can also be used as a performance upgrade with our computer and wiring kit to convert a 1996-1998 GT to the PI valve drive train or to convert 3.8L 6 cylinder models. It boasts around 285 HP from the factory, with an aluminum head design that features overhead camshafts (1 per head). This is a used OEM Mustang engine in good working condition; we will be happy to disclose individual mileage on a per unit basis as we strive to maintain an inventory with under 100,000 miles.
